Receive proper training so you can be an “immediate responder” to help someone who is experiencing traumatic bleeding. Be ready to save the life of a family member, a friend, a colleague, or a perfect stranger. Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventable deaths. Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences, establishing hemorrhage as the most common cause of preventable death in trauma.
- Average time to bleed out: 2 to 5 minutes

This course is 3 hours in length. It consists of an 1 hour classroom presentation and 2 hour hands on skills, drills and practical exercises. Upon completion of this course, students are issued a Bleeding Control certificate of completion. There will be opportunities at this course to purchase your very own basic bleeding control kit at the end of the course.
